If you've a bike which doesn't have an obvious mounting plate for a kickstand, then this could be the solution - a kickstand which mounts on the rear of you bike, on the chain and seat stays. This will work for pretty much any bike which has a standard diamond frame.
Made of aluminium, it's light weight, adaptable for most bicycles with wheels between 24" and 28" in size and can be fitted on nearly any conventionally shaped frame (probably not with rear suspension).
One of the photos shows a similar design of stand bought many years ago fitted to one of our older bikes on which the kickstand mount failed. Another shows an illustrative edited photo of an older model of stand which differs slightly in appearance from that available now.
