12x28x8 Replacement bearing for many bicycle and velomobile wheels

The 12x28x8 (inner diameter x outer diameter x thickness) bearing size is used in many bicycle wheels, including the wheels of specialized bikes such as velomobiles.

For instance, it's used in the front and rear wheels of many velomobiles. The additional images show bearings being replaced in a rear wheel from a Mango velomobile. Worn bearings run slightly rough. In a velomobile this can lead to a rumbling noise, or additional noise when cornering. In extreme cases there may even be play. Replacing them is quite a quick job.
