Well before the company was bought by SRAM, Sachs-Sedis were once known as the producers of the best chains in the world. They were the originators of a new design of bushingless chain which all other manufacturers copied and which is still used in the SRAM chains.

KMC chains offer a good alternative with, for example, lower costs, different finishes and lower weights.
