Alligt clamps for bottom bracket holder / seat

Clamps as delivered with the Alligt Bottom Bracket Holder. For use on many recumbent bikes, trikes and velomobiles which use 40 mm square section tubes to secure the bottom bracket and in some cases the seat. Designs which use clamps like this include many Dutch designs such as Alligt Alleweder, Flevobike and Flevotrike, Velomobiel Quest and Strada, Sinner Mango. Two complete clamps and four bolts are delivered per order (see additional photos).

Nylon or aluminium ?
Until recently these clamps were always made of aluminium. The aluminium clamps are still available but we also have the newer nylon/glass fibre clamps. These are just as strong, but they have a lower price and a slightly lower weight (76 g vs 93 g for a set of two clamps). How often can you save weight on a bicycle and also save money ?
