Weber's trailer coupling is well tested and almost uniquely secure because it allows trailers to be locked to the bicycle which tows them.
The two parts for the trailer and the bicycle are sold separately.
A complete set, enough for one trailer and one bicycle, is supplied as standard with the Roland Big Boy trailer as well as other models of trailer from other manufacturers. If you wish to be able to use a trailer supplied with a Weber coupling with a second bicycle, you need buy only the bicycle mounted part to install on the second bike.
Buy the trailer mounted part (or both parts) if you are building a new trailer or modifying an existing trailer to use the Weber system.
