Like all Steco products, their kick-stand is sturdy and designed to last many years of use. Because it's a rear stand it is particularly suited for carrying large loads on the rear of the bike. A centre mounted stand is better if you will carry large loads on the front of your bike but this stand is suggested for use with the Steco Buggy-Mee, Baby-Mee, child seats and for heavy loads in panniers (e.g. paper delivery).
This stand is designed to fit on a bicycle with a hub brake (see additional images), but if you don't have a hub brake on the rear of your bike, you may be able to DIY a connection with a P-clip around your left chainstay. Combine with the Postal rear rack.
