SRAM's MRX gripshift gear shifters offer good quality for a basic price. Compatible with friction shifting and three to eight speed indexed systems.
In all cases the grip length is 50 mm.
The three speed shifters are intended for use on the left side of the handlebars, while the others are intended for use on the right. They can be installed the other way around, but writing on the labels will be upside down.
These are Shimano compatible shifters, 2:1, and will index correctly with Shimano and all Shimano compatible equipment including that from SRAM. They are not compatible with some other SRAM equipment which uses a different cable pull.
To replace a pair of shifters, left and right for front and rear derailleur, you will need to buy two.
Supplied with inner gear cable. Outer cable is available separately.
