This 3 speed trigger shifter matches with the 9 speed trigger shifter for a 27 speed dual drive setup, with this shifter operating the hub gear part of the gearing system and that's the setup for which this part was designed. As the hub gear which makes up part of the dual drive isn't very different to other SRAM hub gears it's reasonable to expect that this shifter will work on other 3 speed gearing systems but no guarantee can be offered of compatibility.
