Smart Move Galaxy+ 4 lux LED battery headlight

The Smart Move Galaxy+ (BL115) front light is not the brightest light we sell. It's not intended for use on unlit country lanes. However, with its 1/2 W LED it's more than adequate for being seen when you ride in town, and for this usage it has a major advantage over most other front battery powered bicycle lights because it's permanently mounted onto the bicycle.

Lights which are attached to handlebars with a quick release mechanism are a nuisance for utility cycling. They require that every time you stop you have to remove your lights and carry them with you. The convenience is why we carry this light. Some people prefer battery lighting over dynamos and a light like this makes bicycles with battery lighting nearly as convenient as those with dynamo lighting.

We recommend using one of our permanently mounted rear battery lights together with this battery powered front light.
