Saddles all have two rails underneath which are used to mount them on a seat post (also known as a seat pin). Seat posts come in two types. The traditional type is a simple tube which requires a clamp to attach the saddle rails to the seat pin. Some saddles come with clamps, some do not.
These clamps work with pretty much any saddle to connect them to a traditional seat post.
