Narrow Aluminium 20 inch (ETRTO 406) rim (velomobile / recumbent)

Suitable for many recumbent bikes and trikes, velomobiles and folding bicycles, these rims have an inside width of 19 mm and an outside width of 24 mm.

Drilled for 36 spokes and for presta valves. If you wish to use Dunlop or Schrader types valves use an 8 mm drill bit to increase the size of the valve hole.

Rims are made by Schuermann, model sport 19. Weight is 330 g per rim. Side-walls have braking surface but the rims can also be used with hub brakes.

If you have damaged an existing wheel, in most cases it is possible to rebuild using the same spokes and nipples making this a much lower cost alternative to a complete new wheel. For wheel-building you'll need the internal diameter, which is 390 mm and the rim thickness which is 2 mm.
