These puncture repair kits have all you need to repair a puncture (except for a pump) and are housed in sturdy metal boxes which will keep their contents from being damaged while you ride.

Contents:

  1. Three plastic tyre levers (i.e. less likely to damage rims and inner tubes than metal levers)
  2. Tube of glue
  3. Six round patches in two sizes
  4. A sheet of patch material which can be cut to any size
  5. Sandpaper
  6. Instructions
  7. Valve adaptors (premium kit only)

The difference between the "basic" and "premium" versions of these kits is that the latter comes with adaptors for pumping up Presta and Schrader valves with pumps designed for Dunlop valves. Unless you live in a country where Dunlop valves are commonly use and pumps for them commonly available (i.e. the Netherlands and a few others) these adaptors are of little use so we suggest buying the basic kit.

Because the contents of metal boxes can rattle, we suggest adding a small piece of cloth to the kit, which you can also use to wipe your hands after making a repair.

If you don't like repairing punctures then we recommend the highly puncture resistant Schwalbe Marathon and Marathon+ tyres.

Dimensions 12.8 cm x 7.2 cm x 2.1 cm

Note: Tyre levers should only be used to help to loosen tyres from rims. They should never be used as levers to either fit or remove a tyre as this can cause damage. Tyres do no stretch and with the correct technique, you don't need a lever to convince a tyre to fit a rim.
