Spanninga Easy kickstand

The Spanninga Easy kickstand is the one we use on most of our bikes. It's relatively long (for the 28 inch version approximately 40 cm / 16 inches from the bolt to the end of the stand) so is more stable than most single sided stands. Even if your bike leans a little when on the stand, and even with a lot of weight from baskets full of shopping or panniers bulging, this still keeps your bike upright.

The extra photos show the difference between the two different shapes, the "20 mm" and "30 mm" sizes in the ordering options. They also show the well used Spanninga kickstand on David's town bike, and our daughter's bike well loaded up for her paper delivery job. We wrote a blog post including instructions showing how to fit this stand. If you don't have a mounting plate for the stand, consider a different one which fits on the rear triangle.

This stand is sized for 28" (ETRTO 622) wheel bikes. We also have a very similar stand for different sized wheels.

If you require better support than this you should perhaps look at a double stand.
