Shimano's cartridge bottom brackets are of excellent quality for the price. Unless you need a speciality product (see related items) we recommend you look no further than this. The BB-UN26 is the basic model, BB-UN55 offers higher quality at what is still a reasonable price.

All are for BSA / ISO threads ( 1.37 inch diameter, 24 tpi ) and fit a 68 mm or 73 mm wide bottom brackets. The different lengths (113 - 123 mm) are to preserve a good chainline with different cranksets and different numbers of chainrings. The optional ring is used to secure some types of chainguard.

Note that these bottom brackets are supplied without bolts, which are available separately.
