Cateye Volt 100 battery headlight

Cateye's Volt 100 headlight (HL-EL051-RC) provides a continuous 100 lumen output. It's an economical and bright headlight for urban usage.

Battery lifetime approximately 1 hour in the 100 lumen mode, 5 hours in the blinking mode (which we suggest you do not use). The inbuilt Lithium-Ion battery is recharged using a USB connector. Weight: 65 grams.

Note about lumens

This is a bright light for the price, but take care when comparing the specificatin with other lights that we sell. Specifying output in lumens rather than lux the allows manufacturer to print a larger number in their specification. Lumens and lux are related (1 lux = 1 lumen per square metre) but the figures can't be compared directly because we have to know how many square metres the light is spread over.  In comparison with our high power dynamo lights, we estimate the output from this light when fully charged and running in its brightest mode is approximately 12 lux.
