Cateye Omni 5 battery rear light

There are many rear lights which can be attached to seat posts, but not so many of them that we like. Cateye's Omni 5 ( TL-LD155-R ) rear light uses five LEDs to provide a relatively spread out bundle of light. This goes some way to avoiding the "hot spot" effect for following riders and provides a larger area of light which makes it easier for those following to estimate how far away a cyclist is.

The light is visible from 360 degrees and runs for up to 120 hours (60 hours in the constant mode which we recommend using) on a pair of AAA cells. A simple to use bracket is provided will work on almost all seat posts and also many seat stays. Seat stay mounting avoids the problem of the light being hidden by a long coat if attached to the seat post.

A bracket is also provided for clipping the light onto your clothing. Note that clothing attached lighting does not constitute legal lighting in some countries (it does in the Netherlands).
